Update & Other Good Stuff

First of all, my V-E-T checkup update. This weeks blood counts are still going down, but too slowly to change my chemotherapy. Dr. C is happy with my progress, so Mom is too.

It's hard to tell from some of Mom's photos,

but my fur hasn't grown all the way back from my surgery yet. It's looking pretty good, but Mom says I look "sculpted" on one side. The new furs aren't as soft as my regular ones. We think that's because of the chemo drugs. But at least it's growing.

Next I am pleased to announce that KC awarded Me with the A+ Award from Zoolatry. I'd like to pass it on to DaisyMae Maus & the Feline Americans.

Box 4 Revisited

We're back! It didn't take as long as I'd feared because Mom didn't waste any time getting a new computer. She's still messing with it, trying to get files copied, and get everything the way she wants, but in the meantime, I insisted that I get a turn too.

I am furry excited because Mom did something to this box which completely changed our minds about it.

She turned it upside down.

This completely changed our perspective about it.

Suddenly it became a lot of fun.

It is perfect for playing "hide-n-pounce."

It is also perfect for secret Cat conferences, sheep excluded.

This box turned out to be a lot of fun after all.
We would recommend it for every kitty.

Our revised rating for this box is 5 purrs.

Box Report 4

Catzee and I remain diligent in reviewing boxes for the Cat Blogosphere. This next report features the box Mom's new computer monitor came in.

We gave it a thorough going over.

I tried it out for size. It was comfortable, but not exceptionally so.
After putting this box through its paces, we both decided it was pretty boring as boxes go, and really wasn't worth a second sniff.

The only one who liked it was Mom's Sheep.
On a rating of 1 to 5, this box gets no purrs.

Box Report 3

Nokitty was very interested in these boxes at first. Mom calls them “4 Gallon Boxes” because they hold four, gallon jugs of whatever. I'd seen them before but Catzee had been too busy with other things to take notice at first. Finally Mom tossed some toys into one of them and all of a sudden Catzee was interested.

And if she was interested.........
.............. then so was I.
As you can see, they are comfortably sized for a larger Cat........
.......and easy to make a graceful exit from.

They are useful in a variety of positions.

Catzee found something fun to do with the upper side slots.

They were also fun to use for ambushing.

Although they were suitable for having fun for awhile, we lost interest in these boxes quickly. We give them a 3 purr rating.

You may recall that through no fault of my own, I had a lot of trouble preparing for this box report. Even so, if you're interested, you can see a "Catzee's Cut" photo on her blog.

Box Report 2

Catzee claimed this sleeping bag box immediately.
In fact, she defended it so staunchly that I was neither allowed to play with it nor inspect it properly.

As you can see, it has plenty of room for both Cat and toys. In fact I would have fit in there quite comfortably, if I had been allowed to try it, which I wasn't.

It's most attractive feature is the nicely sized viewing slot, which is larger than Box 1's. In fact, it was large enough for Catzee to try and dive through. She didn't make it however.

For myself, I only give this box a 1 purr rating. Catzee might disagree, but hey, if she wanted it to have a better rating she would have allowed me to play too.

Box Report 1

Catzee and I have been testing several different types of boxes.

This model is comfortably Cat sized with a cut-out end and nice viewing slot in the bottom.

It is just right the right height for easy jumping entry.

The viewing slot is perfect for spying.

It offers plenty of hiding space for smaller Cats.



But gives larger Cats effortless access.

Making it easily conquerable.

We give this box a 5 Purr rating.
