Another Cat Song
Mom has been working hard on a song for Me and wanted to post it before we get on to My Story. I have decided to be very generous and allow her to post it while Cat songs are still the buzz in the kitty blogosphere.
To the tune of "How Much is That Doggy in the Window."
Oh look at that kitty in the window,
The one with the black whipping tail
Oh look at that kitty in the window
He’s mine, so he isn’t for sale.
Oh look at that kitty in the window,
The one with the sleek shining fur.
Oh look at that kitty in the window,
If I let him come in, will he purr?
Oh look at that kitty in the window,
The one with the soul piercing stare.
Oh look at that kitty in the window,
I don’t like the look of his glare.
Oh look at that kitty in the window,
The one with the bright flashing eyes
Oh look at that kitty in the window,
I fear he’s too big for his size.
Oh look at that kitty in the window,
The one with the Cheshire-like grin.
Oh look at that kitty in the window,
Perhaps I should let him come in.

I loved your song Rascal. I just don't have the energy to sit around writing songs when I could be napping.

Great song, Rascal! We haven't come up with any yet. Mom loves your baby pictures, too, and she says since we don't have any of Smeagol, they help her imagine what he looked like!

Very nice... my rabbits are practicing the song in their rabbit hutch would you believe that even my rabbits love it.
