I Made Eric and Flynn's Day

Eric and Flynn have passed on the You Make My Day Award to me! Thank you boys! I'm always happy to make someone's day, even if it's only my own. (And Mom's. And Dad's. And Catzee's.)

In turn, I would like to pass this on to House Panthers. All of the Cat Blogosphere always makes my day, but my fellow panthers are the best.

The Cool Cat Award

William honored Me with The Cool Cat Award. He is a very cool Cat and I am too. In fact, all blogging Cats are cool Cats. I would like to pass this award on to my friend Neelix and my namesake Rascal. They are very cool Cats too.

Update & Other Good Stuff

First of all, my V-E-T checkup update. This weeks blood counts are still going down, but too slowly to change my chemotherapy. Dr. C is happy with my progress, so Mom is too.

It's hard to tell from some of Mom's photos,

but my fur hasn't grown all the way back from my surgery yet. It's looking pretty good, but Mom says I look "sculpted" on one side. The new furs aren't as soft as my regular ones. We think that's because of the chemo drugs. But at least it's growing.

Next I am pleased to announce that KC awarded Me with the A+ Award from Zoolatry. I'd like to pass it on to DaisyMae Maus & the Feline Americans.

KC also tagged Me for the Wishing Star Meme. Here's mine,

I'm tagging anyone who would like to play, so here are the rules:

1. Think about what it is that you want more than anything, what your heart's desire and fondest wish is, and what it is that you would wish for if you were to see the above wishing star flame across the night sky.

2. Right click and SAVE the blank graphic below.

3. Use a graphics program of your choice and place your wish on this picture:

4. Post Make A Wish Meme and your wishing star on your blog along with these rules.

5. Tag as many people as you like so that there can be wishing stars all across Blogosphere and ask them to please link back to Linda so we can see what wishes others have made and share those wishes with others.

Thank you KC for both of these. Now everyone else, have fun!

Another Award!

Look what Ernie's Voice, Chancy, and Jake awarded Me! I am very proud. Everyone has been very encouraging to Me since I was diagnosed with feline lymphoma. Thank you, Chancy, Ernie's Voice & Jake!

Wednesday's V-E-T check-up wasn't too bad. I'm actually getting used to riding in the green machine. My weight is still 15 pounds, so I have not lost anymore weight. They were happy about that. My blood count was the same too so I still have to take my pills. And best of all, I'm feeling good!

Award and Chemo Update

First of all, I a very pleased that Tybalt has honored me with this very special award.

Thank you Tybalt! You truly are a prince among Cats!

I also wanted to let you know how week 4 of my chemotherapy is going .

Wednesday's visit to the V-E-T was no fun although Mom and Dr. C seemed pleased. My blood work was fine, my weight is fine, my check-up was fine, and I'm showing no further symptoms of lymphoma. That doesn't mean I'm out of the woods yet, so I still have to take those nasty pills. I feel good though.

As you can see, my fur is gradually growing back. The white spot near the fur line is a scar from a long time ago, when I was badly mauled by a big dog. Mom says there is probably another one hidden under my fur, as that dog left huge bite punctures.

So. That pretty much sums up what's going on in Rascal's World.

Winning Attitude Award

I am very honored to announce that Storm has presented Me with this award:

As many of you already know, Storm also has feline lymphoma and has indeed been "The Furry Fighter."

I would like to pass this award on to Brandi at Catitude. Many of you know that she and her mama have been through some really hard times. Brandi's always hung in there and is thankful as things get better for them. She is another good example of a "Winning Attitude."

Awards and Catzee

I was tickled pink to receive this special award from Diamond Emerald-Eyes. This award is all about caring, and I appreciate Diamond's caring enough to think of Me . In turn, I would like to nominate everyone who has visited my blog and left such encouraging comments during my time of surgery and diagnosis of lymphoma. Thank you for caring enough to purr for Me, pray for Me, and encourage Me. It's helped a lot.

Then there is the Golden Rose award, from Miss Tina, which I forgot all about. She awarded it to Mom, and Catzee, and Me last December, for helping to spread the word about the flood victims. Thank you to Tina for this, we were happy to help.

Also, Miss Kathy asked how Catzee was doing with all the fuss that's been going on about Me around here. I am happy to report that she hasn't missed a beat. She's been pretty gentle, until today. I think she figured I'd gotten off long enough. I eventually had to hiss at her to keep her in line. So everything is back to normal around here.

Two Announcements

I am very, purry happy with two things.

First is that I was honored yesterday with Midnight's Black Panther Award from Cindy's Cat Pages:

There is a lot of interesting things there for both Cats and humans, including Cat facts, Cat links, Cat poetry, lots of Cats to meet including Midnight, and (even some dog stuff.) I was very pleased to receive this award.

My other exciting news is that I have been invited to join the House Panthers

But!.................... Mom wasn't paying attention when she clicked on the "accept invitation" button. She was signed into blogger.com not Me, so her name is on the list, not Mine. I am unable to join in with the other House Panthers until Mom finds out how to fix it. If you want to see how I'm handling the situation, click on the above House Panther link.

Mom is in the dog house at the moment.
