Invasion

We've been invaded by the worst thing imaginable....

Kittens

They've taken over my toys.

They've taken over my food.

They've taken over my tuna juice.

They've taken over Mom's lap.

They're in to everything.

The only time they're tolerable is when they're asleep.

I'm grumpy.

Cute, cute post! Not much cuter than little kittens. Unless it's little puppies. Or little goat kids. Or lambs. Or . . .

I imagine Rascal is grumpy. I would be too if two little ones invaded my space.

Oh, Rascal, I feel for ya. I can't even imagine two of them in the house!

Hang in there, buddy. Eventually they'll get the rules.

Oh, and my mom wants to know, do they have names yet? (She also said they were too cute for words.)

They are cute, but we can see why you're grumpy about those kittens. Especially when they are standing IN your food bowl! Hang in there, Rascal. Hugs and purrs to you.

Yes, poor Rascal indeed. You need to teach them some manners! Have they know shame? Lapping up a cat's tuna juice?!?! What is this generation coming to? Hang in there. Ken and Mary of Fancy Fibers Farm

Very cute. My former kitten, when I was a child, had followed my brother home from a party and decided to stay. He would sneak on to my bed at night, put his face up against mine, slobber and dig his claws into my hair. By the morning he had the entire pillow to himself. He would then eventually split.

Enjoy yourself Rascal.

Want we shoul come over an bring those kittens to our house, Uncle Rascal? Mom says she has lap room...ah,...wait a minute! That would mean less space for ME on Mom's lap!
They are cute little things. Maybe they will bring you munks if you teach them how to catch them...

Those kittens are SOOO cute (Mom don't get any ideas!!) We hope that they don't hone in on your territory too much - though sitting in your Mom's lap??!! That's inexcusable!!! Better to teach these kittens early that it is your house, your rules!!

Good luck!!

Oh, Poor Rascal - I told mom she couldn't bring any of those stinkin things home - she has to wait until I go to the Bridge or longer!

Mom says to tell you Concatulations for getting her joke about the "Hoversheep" - nobody else picked up on it! You're one smart cookie!

Hello Rascal, you're still the VERY BEST OF CATS!!! I hope you still have a few special places of your own.

How about teaching the kittens a few things that kittens should know, like respect for elders and how to catch their own food?

Squeeee, the kittens are adorable. Sorry Rascal, maybe you can teach them a few things. Like how to do stuff for you. :)

Hi Rascal I always enjoy reading the accounts of you life and it is almost as good as having a cat and at least I am not woken up at 5.15am and I really felt for you being displaced by the kittens- my d*g (a dirty word I know) sympathises as she has been invaded by a visiting d*g and sometimes feels quite cross!

Goodness sakes Rascal, I would be grumpy too. Although they are kind of funny and cute doing all their antics. I would draw the line when it comes to my mom's lap though. Just let them know that you are the alpha cat.
