Awards and Catzee

I was tickled pink to receive this special award from Diamond Emerald-Eyes. This award is all about caring, and I appreciate Diamond's caring enough to think of Me . In turn, I would like to nominate everyone who has visited my blog and left such encouraging comments during my time of surgery and diagnosis of lymphoma. Thank you for caring enough to purr for Me, pray for Me, and encourage Me. It's helped a lot.

Then there is the Golden Rose award, from Miss Tina, which I forgot all about. She awarded it to Mom, and Catzee, and Me last December, for helping to spread the word about the flood victims. Thank you to Tina for this, we were happy to help.

Also, Miss Kathy asked how Catzee was doing with all the fuss that's been going on about Me around here. I am happy to report that she hasn't missed a beat. She's been pretty gentle, until today. I think she figured I'd gotten off long enough. I eventually had to hiss at her to keep her in line. So everything is back to normal around here.

You have a pretty impressive looking bald spot there Rascal. We think perhaps you could try the "comb-over" like our uncle use to do.

I am so glad to hear you are doing fine, Rascal! All of our cat-peepul are sacked out by the woodburning stove, too exhausted to move. they said to tell you and your family "Hello". Today, they have all been glued to the windows as we have been trying to keep up with a big storm we are getting. I think they like watching us work. No birds to watch today as they are trying to stay out of the storm too.
Keep you furry chin up, Rascal...what you have is getting more and more manageable all the time. The doctors have medications to give you to make you feel better, so you be good for your mom and take them like you should.

We're so glad to hear that your condition is treatable and you can lead a pretty much "normal" cat life. Take your meds like the Mancat you are!!

Hi Rascal, glad you are getting a little better, purrs and prayers still going up for you. Congratulations on your awards. You deserve them both. Well Rascal guess you can't expect Catzee to keep in line all the time. So good that you can keep her in her place though. Take care Rascal and God Bless.

Hi Rascal...Congrat's on your awards.
You are a beautiful black cat.
We are so happy you will have many months & more with your family.
Your problems seemed similar to our Ernie's, but after reading through your past posts...Ernie's real problem was not caught until it was to late. His lymphoma was fast growing and possibly caused from having mega colon. By the way, he had his beautiful tummy shaved, too. He was so bound up, enemas didn't work.

We will be back for updates...
We are purring & praying for you Rascal...
HUGS~Chancy, Ernie's Voice & Jake
