I've Been Busy

There's mouses and 'munks to keep an eye on and catch.

Mom's Note: Rascal seems to be doing pretty well on the prednisolone. Some days he's himself, demanding and fussy as ever. Other days he doesn't seem to feel all that well. Some days he'll eat well and put on a few ounces. Other days he's not that interested in eating. About a month ago, Dr. C gave him one to two months. On the days he's doing well it seems like he'll live forever. Other days we worry and pamper. He loves going outside and has been catching shrews, chipmunks, and today a squirrel. We just try to treasure every moment with him, and hope he will prove Dr. C. wrong.

Mom's Been Painting

Mom's been painting the living room and I'm keeping an eye on the furniture.

I'm keeping an eye on her too, though she doesn't know it. She thinks I can't see her because she's on one side of the couch while I'm on the other.

Little does she know that thanks to my Black Cat Spidey Senses, I know everything that goes on around here. Cats are smart that way you know.

Sleepy Sunday

Actually I'm very busy. I'm keeping Mom company while she does her work on the computer. I only look like I'm sleeping.

A Crimp on Our Blogging Time

Mom has just been elected president of her weavers guild. She says that means that she's going to be very, very busy and won't have as much time for blogging.

The question is, whose blogging goes. Ours or Mom's.

Feeling Better

I went for my follow-up check at the V-E-T this morning. Still no report from the pathology lab. Dr. C said they were doing a re-test and we should have the results tomorrow.

But the staples are out and that stupid collar is gone.

The wound is yucky and oozy because some of the
skin is dead. There is no infection though.

Dr. C said the dead stuff will slough off over time and new healthy skin is already growing back. At least I'm allowed to clean it as much as I want.

I haven't been able to take a proper bath with that thing
on my neck, so if you'll excuse me, I've got a lot of work to do.

Mystery Solved

If you guessed cat grass, then you guessed right. We haven't had cat grass for awhile, so we were both very happy to have some. At first we tried to share it.

But considering the size of the container, this ended up in a fuss.

Finally we reached an agreement.

I went first.

Then Catzee had her turn. A good solution, I think.

They're Getting Bigger

If you have visited Catzee's blog lately, then you know what's been going on around here. You also saw Me supervising the box of little Christmas Trees.

Today's news is that the trees are getting bigger around here.

Rascal & Catzee inspect this new object. This is all new for Catzee, but I know what it's all about.

Catzee tries to measure its 'toy' value, & Rascal watches as he already knows.Wait until she sees "The Big One."

In other news, I've gotten the word "Your new version of Blogger is ready!" Having heard a few horror stories about this migration, I must admit that Mom and I have a few misgivings about it. However, it had to come sooner or later. So if you don't hear from Me for awhile, you'll know I'm still out there somewhere, trying to find my way back to you.

Peek-A-Who?

Rascal enjoys a peaceful peer out the window.Rascal, sitting in the window and minding his own business, as usual.

Catzee considers her options, 'How does I gets him ta play wif me?'Unbeknownst to him, Catzee plans a sneak attack.

It's a peek-a-boo sneak attack!BOP!
Hey!

However, neither Cat appreciates Mom spying on them with the flashy thing.Mom, this is Cat business, do you mind????

Time to Eat

As you can see, though we take turns for treats, we eat as a team (as long as each of us has our favorite Cat food.)
