Purry Christmas

May your tree water be tasty,
May your stocking be full of mousies,
May you have a warm hearth to Catnap by,
And may you have plenty of Nip Nog to toast in the season.

Merry Christmas to my friends in

A Christmas Flashback Friday

Click to biggifyWhen College Kid and Piano Girl were little kids (before I was born), they had a family Christmas tradition. Every year the family would take a big sheet of art paper and tape it to the refrigerator. At the beginning of Advent, everyone would sign up to draw something for the Nativity Scene. Every day something new would be added: a shepherd, a sheep, the inn, the innkeeper, the angels, wise men, Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, etc.

Mom found this old photo of the one they drew in 1999. That was the Christmas before I was born. (You can click on it to biggify.) I thought you might enjoy it.

Our Christmas

Catzee and I wanted to tell you about our Christmas and the presents we got. We couldn't decide who should tell what so we decided to share our story. All you have to do to keep up is click on the "Next" link when you see it. Want to give that a try? Here's the first one.....

Dad kept sticking this one under my nose, which I didn't appreciate. However.....

The first present was a funny little ball.

It twists open and is filled with catnip.

I played with it for a little while.

And then I just claimed it.

I also claimed some of the other presents too.

Catzee actually did more playing than snoopervising,
so I had to keep her in line.

It took a little work, but eventually we got everything back to normal.
