The Scoop on the Ginger & White

Here's the scoop on the Ginger & White Cat who was making such a commotion with The White Cat over the empty food bowl.

Mom met the part of his human family while she was out walking Catzee on her harness. His name is Bittsey, and he lives down at the other end of our building. I don't know if he is ever allowed inside (or if he ever wants to go inside), but his humans keep a food bowl outside for him. He just likes to fight, and he picks on The White Cat quite a bit and usually wins. He's very friendly toward humans.

Mom thinks he is very territorial because he never had his hoohaectomy. However, I've had mine and am very territorial too. The problem with not having any hoohas, is the inability to mark one's territory. Then when an intruder comes along, he thinks the territory is available for the marking. I got into a lot of fights that way, when I used to be allowed outside. I was constantly having to defend territory which was rightfully mine, but was powerless to define in the manner of Cats.

So there you have it. That's what there is to know about the Ginger & White.

What I've noticed with all animals that mark their territory is that the other animals don't care and come over onto your territory anyway. They're like "Oh Yeah? Well, I'm coming here anyway!" and the fighting insues.

The vets say it's better for animals to have the hoohaectomy so the animals don't get cancer. I get my pets fixed because it's a lot cleaner (we always end up with girls). Shelter animals come fixed here.

And here it's not safe to leave your animals out as we have hawks and coyotes...oh and teenagers in cars.

He's quite a handsome cat. It's too bad that no one loves him enough to keep him inside or at least let him inside so he's not fighting so much.

Bittsey is very handsome. But it is not right for his human family to make him live outside, and not have him neutered.

Bittsey is a good looking cat. It is irresponsible of his owners to make, or let, him live outside and not have him fixed. He'll be contributing to the feral cat population, if he hasn't aleady.

Bittsey looks like a fine ginger boy, but his humans need to get his ho-ha's removed! Territory marking or not, cancer etc. We don't want or need more little unwanted kittens.

Bittsey looks like a very nice cat. His humans should really get him neutered so his doesn't fight as much, and should keep him inside.

Does your area have a low cost spay/neuter program? Maybe someone needs to educate his humans.

Poor Bittsey looks like a nice cat,and it would be better furr him if his peeple got his hoohaas sorted out. (He mite not agree wiv that though)

He is a beauty, but it is a real shame his people don't care for him enough to have him neutered.

Thanks for leaving a comment for Lilly Lu.

We hope Bittseys humans will have him neutered. He would be so much safer inside away from car wheels, too!

Such handsome kitty-cats they both are..

This guy looks plenty territorial. I wonder if he has his hoohas.
