Namesake!

I am very proud to announce that I have a namesake! Can you guess which one below?

Yup. The one that looks like Me! My friends in Airy-Zona have been busy with a ferral momma kitty and her babies. They named the black one after Me!

Notice the catitude? Exceptional in one so young. A namesake to be proud of.

You can read all about them by visiting their Human's blog at Sheep Thrills Farm. As you might have guessed, not only do they have Cats, but sheep too! Which means they have sheep fur and string. My mom likes to visit their blog and I do too.

I am very proud of Kathy because it wasn't easy to catch this little family but she didn't give up and now they have a safe place to get their start in life. BUT! They will need homes soon! Please purr for good homes for them.

Thank you, Rascal! We couldn't think of a better name when we saw our "Rascal"! He reminds us so much of YOU!
And thank you and your Humans for purring for good homes for these little ones. We won't let them go to anyone who won't love them for the rest of their lives. It will be hard, but we want them to be loved and cared for.
And Mama Cat will stay with us fur-ever. She will be loved and fed and taken care of, just like the others here.

Thank you, Rascal!

Kathy

Hi Rascal - yes, hasn't Kathy been a good bean to take care of all those little kitties - And that Little Rascal - looks just like you!

When I talked to her last night she & Ralph were herding kittens into the "safe" room- a feat not easy when they don't want to be herded... And when K. said she had named the Momma Kitty - well, I knew that Momma Kitty had a new home, didn't you? LOL T.

AHHHHH! TOO MUCH CUTENESS!

sorry...that was our Lady. that little black kitten looks just like Cocoa, when the Lady first spotted him under the junk car (except little Rascal is cleaner). do you have any idea how much our Lady wants to scoop up that cuddly bunch of kittens and cuddle them and keep them forever? we'd better go put the Big Bitey on her before she makes a little road trip to Airy Zona.

That's very nice of the Mom Beans to take good care of them and find them homes. I hope soon all of them will be in their new homes. They're all very cute :-)

It is so cool that you have a namesake you looks like you, Rascal. It was very kind of your Airy-Zona friend could take in the Momcat and her kittens to find them all forever homes.

Hey Rascal, I really want to know why YOU got YOUR name.

I'll tell you why: my black cat Oscar had a mischievous, playful streak so his middle name was Mestopheles, and now we have a little black cat Annie and she's NOT placid and thoughtful like our little tabby, in fact, I was just telling her she was a little rascal and then I got to wondering if it's something special with black cats, a real special blend of humour and imagination that you black cats have.

I think Dorothy is right, my Ollie definitely had a quirky sense of humour and imagination - he invented games for us to play! Little Rascal looks so like you big Rascal. I hope they all find furever homes soon. They are all very cute:) xxx

What little cuties, even if they aren't white like me. Actually, our human female is very partial to black cats. If we lived in AZ, I bet Rascal would be home with us now.

Hope you have a safe and happy 4th of July.
