Feeling Well

I am feeling rather well these days. Mom is supposed to be watching Me for vomiting, diarrhea, or loss of appetite. The V-E-T says my meds might do this to Me. But actually I feel fine. I like laying in Mom's lap, begging for treats, and chasing Catzee. Plus I'm trying to catch up on all my household investigations. My incision is almost healed and I don't feel at all sick. One of these days my furs might even grow back.

Hi Rascal - glad to see you are up and around, and that you are feeling well. Maybe your momma could knit you a belly cap to cover it up until your furs grow back...or you could pretend you are 1/2 furry black kitty and 1/2 like Dragonheart...hmmm - that's a concept, don't you think? Take care, and keep taking those pills! T.

I'm so glad to hear that you're doing well.

And ya know those cat nip cookies sound like a really good idea. I'm sure I could sell lots of those in the catblogosphere, but they wouldn't do so well in real life.
However, our cookie sales are going great. I made a sign for our Hometown Hero cookies (cookies to send to soldiers in Iraq) and a guy gave us $30! WOW! DD just needs to sell 17 more to reach her goal, and if next Sunday is anything like today...we'll get there and then some with no problems. It looks as if I'm gonna have to get even more cookies to sell.

hi rascal
i am so glad you are OK with the Leukeran, it made me so ill within 3 days of taking it so we just stopped. i think the Madison Wisconsin protocol that I was on previously did a good job cos so far I am doing ok just with my Pred steroid pill *touch wood*
it is such a relief of sorts that you have a slow-growing one - and not one of the fast/large cell ones.
by the way - your furs will grow back but VERY VERY slowly cos you are technically on chemo drugs which makes furs go away! i lost my whiskers but they are back again now.
keep up the good work and be strong!
love

Juliescooter, near the top of my sidebar (under "Poems & Songs") there is an email link. My mom can email you with some excellent resources. I'll get her to take photos of how she forces me to take a pill.

Rascal, I am so glad to hear you are feeling better! Way to go! I can hardly wait to tell our felines the news! (Right now everyone is very worried by the big fans and machines that suck moisture out of the air that some men came and put in today. We've had leaking from our roof into three rooms because of snow and ice on our roof. None of us like all the noise these machines make!)

You be good and still take your meds even though you feel good enough to not need them - they are working!

Love from all of us,
Kathy
