Where: In the hallway outside of Mom and Dad's bedroom door

Catzee: Rascal, wanna play?


Rascal: No, it's too early.

Catzee: How come its too early? We're awake aren't we?

Rascal: Yeah, but Mom and Dad are still asleep.

Catzee: So, we're not sposed to play cuz they're sleepin'?

Rascal: No, We're not supposed to play because it's time for morning treats.

Catzee: But how can we get treats if Mom an' Dad are sleepin'?

Rascal: We wake them up.

Catzee: But I already tried that. They jus said “Go to bed” an' went back to sleep.

Rascal: We have to make them want to get up.

Catzee: How do we do that?

Rascal: Come here and let Me show you.

The two Cats exit to the spare bedroom which serves as a storage room and where Mom keeps her yarn and sewing stuff.

Rascal: See that little basket up there?

Catzee: The one on top of that pile of boxes wif the yarn an' little yarn sticks pokin' out of it?

Rascal: That's the one.

Catzee: So?

Rascal: Well, Mom wouldn't want it falling down. She wouldn't want all her stuff spread out all over the floor.

Catzee: Yeah?

Rascal: Yeah. So if it accidentally fell down, Mom would want to get up to put it back again. And once she's out of bed she'll want to feed Us treats.

Catzee: Really??? Are ya gonna knock it down.

Rascal: Oh, I don't think I can jump that high. I don't think I can land on that little spot to get to it.

Catzee: Well I could!

Rascal: Really? Why don't you show Me?

Sound of a Cat scrambling followed by a loud

Mom, mumbling sleepily: What's going on!

Mom gets up to see what the noise was all about.




















Mom: Alright. Who's been messing with my stuff!?!?!?!

Rascal: It wasn't Me!

Mom: CATZEE!!!!

Rascal: Ah, the joys of being the older and wiser Cat.
